Merry Christmas and Surprise!

We decided that we would tell our families on Christmas Day that they were going to be grandparents! For Geoffs parents, this will be their 1st grandchild and for Melissa's parents this will be grandchild #3. Since we were in Springfield for Christmas we wrapped up a card and picture of us and put it under the tree and were anxiously waiting to have my parents open it up bright and early on Christmas Day! They were so excited and suprised for sure! As for Geoff's family we wrapped up that same picture and sent it along to Toledo as a Christmas present.... When they opened it up it was a Grandparents Picture Frame with the above picture in it!

We had our first Ultrasound!

On December 23rd we went in to the doctor for our first ultrasound to confirm viability and our due date. We were so excited and nervous all at the same time. Here is our first pictures of our little peanut. We saw the heartbeat that day which was truly amazing and really made this feel real. The heartbeat was a strong 150 and our baby measured 7 weeks and 1 Day. We have our due date! Baby Sherman is expected August 10, 2009

He sees it!

11-29-08.... I was up early ready to take my 2nd test in hopes that the line I saw yesterday was just a bit darker today and Geoff could even see this one... Here it is!!

Do you see it?

I woke up on 11-28-08 after a dream I had that I was pregnant! So I quietly crept out of the bedroom and went to the bathroom to take my 1st pregnancy test and I immediately saw a very faint line. And I had read enough on the internet to know A LINE IS A LINE! So I ran and woke up Geoff and said " I'm Pregnant!". I then proceeded to show him the test and I said 'Do you see the line?" and he said "No!" So I said well get up and come closer to the light and he still said "No I am sorry I don't see it!" Well I knew I saw that line so I just had to wait until the next day to take another test and prove I was not going crazy...

A Thanksgiving Surprise!

Here is a picture of us on the night we found out we were going to have a baby! We were in Springfield for Thanksgiving. We weren't telling anyone quite yet, but we had a lot to be thankful for this year at Thanksgiving!
