Christmas Party with Moms Group!

On Monday mommy and I went to a Christmas party with some of the moms from our stay at home group. We went to this place called Nibbles Cafe where they have different rooms you can play in. The highlight of the party for me when was I got to decorate my own cupcake and then eat it!! Here are some pictures of all the action:)

More Oreos Please!

We are alive and kicking over at the Sherman household. It has been a very busy December for us with lots of playgroups and shopping of course for presents. We haven't had too many picture perfect moments but today I got to try my first Oreo cookie and I LOVED it of course. Some of you may ask "first?" . Yes as much junk as my mommy gives me to eat I had never tired a double stuffed Oreo cookie before. I have a hard time just stopping at one, but can you blame me?


This is when I figured out that mommy was for real this time and I was only getting 1.......

1st snow!

Today I got to experience the first snow of the year! Mommy and daddy took me out on my new sled in the back. I was a little uncertain at first but then I 'warmed' up to the idea and I kept telling daddy MORE. Daddy went kinda fast but I survived!!!!

Cayman Island Fun in the Sun!

As most of you know, I spent the week of Thanksgiving with my mommy, daddy, meme, papa, uncle jay, aunt laura and justin and jack in the Cayman Islands. It was such a beautiful place and I loved the 85 degree and sunny weather every day. I was a very good girl the entire trip and even warmed up to playing in the sand. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

Happy 34th Birthday Dada!!

Today is daddy's 34th birthday so last night mommy, daddy and I celebrated by going to his favorite restaurant in the city. Yep, that is right we went to Dee's Restaurant where mommy and daddy met and got engaged. It was my first time and it was yummy. I even tried some crab rangoon!

A sunny day in November...

No particular reason for our new pictures but just a beautiful November day... Avery and I spent some time outside and I basically chased her around trying to get some cute pictures:) It was a tough task today.. I really think she 'tries' to ignore me at all times while the camera is out!

Yesterday Avery and mommy went to a kids consignment sale and sure enough Avery walked away with a new convertible. She is already putting it to good use!!

YEAH! Halloween arrived and although it was not Avery's 1st it certainly was a fun one now that we have a little toddler running around. Avery dressed up as an Illinois cheerleader this year and had a great time... not necessarily dressed up but certainly getting and eating candy. Yes, we allow our 14 month to indulge in candy especially this weekend when it is just too hard to say no. We had an extra special weekend because Meme and Papa came up to spend Saturday and Sunday with us!! Avery LOVES her Meme and Papa!!

But sure enough Avery knew exactly what to do when she got to that bowl of candy....

And this is what happens when you take away the candy.... I assure you that Avery got her fair share of sugar that day but there came a point where we had to say no.... Avery disagreed.. Now we have a sad and angry cheerleader but she bounced back very quickly.
