Happy Halloween!
We had a great time trick or treating this year!! I do not think that Avery knew what to expect but boy oh boy once we got started she sure got the hang of it. She had a great time going to the houses and getting candy but was very timid and had to have daddy hold her most of the time or mommy hold her hand. At the end of the 1 1/2 hour fun she kept saying to me "more mama, more houses, more pieces of candy". So cute and fun! Our little puppy even had a great time too strolling along with his big sister!

A Halloween Party at Chuck E Cheese
On Friday, Avery and Mommy went with our Stay at Home Moms Group to Chuck E Cheese for the annual Halloween party. We went last year and as we were pulling up to it Avery says from the backseat "Oh there it is" (as if she had remembered even though it had been a year). She was very excited and LOVED getting on the rides all by herself and even putting the tokens in herself. She used almost all of her 16 tokens on the Barney ride and loved every minute of it! She also enjoyed the show that came on every 15-20 minutes or so. What a fun morning!
It's all about the nails!
We just spent a wonderful week with Meme being here and boy did we have fun! Some how it was Avery's idea?? Or Memes's???? to have a little day of manicures and pedicures in the Sherman household. Avery was of course the technician and Meme and babydoll both had appointments with her. She did a great job(Meme's nails proved this) and probably got a pretty good tip!!!

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE'VE HAD A BIG DAY IN THE SHERMAN HOUSE!
Thanks to the best Meme in the world who encouraged Avery and even sat in the bathroom with her reading her a book and singing to her the whole time.... Avery officially went on the potty for the first time today! She was such a big girl and did her first poopie with her baby in hand on her potty chair! WE ARE SO PROUD!!
Avery got to have 3 popsicles, yes 3 for her poopies today!!

3 month old comparison
Seems hard to believe that Kellan will be 3 months old tomorrow. He is getting so big and is smiling and laughing all the time! He is our little chunker too as he is growing like a weed. We were so use to Avery who was always so small and petite and the comments we get when we tell people how old Kellan is is that he is a big boy! We hear husky too which is just a nice way of saying big!! Haha!

First laughs.....
A couple of week ago I heard Kellan laugh for the first time when we looked in the mirror together but as I expected I hadn't heard that sweet little sound again... until TODAY! We were playing on the couch and he was laying on my legs and I was talking and making funny sounds and sure enough comes this GIGANTIC smile and a whole lotta laughs....... It happened 4 or 5 times and just melted my heart!!!! Yeah for a laughing baby boy!
