Waiting on the stairs to see if Santa had come

 This year we had two very excited kiddos on Christmas Day. I think at 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 they are just about the perfect age for all the magic surrounding this holiday.  We spent three weeks with our Elf on the Shelf, Chippy, following him around our house and each and every morning Kellan and Avery were so excited to see where he had moved to each night. We also had our Advent box and counted down to Jesus' birthday.  We were so happy this morning that we got out at a bright and early 6:00am waiting to see if Santa had visited us.   We were happy to see he came to visit two kiddos on the good list:)

A morning of snow

a night of winter fun

Tonight we went to North School Park to look at the lights and then we went on a sleigh ride downtown. It was chilly but lots of fun!!!

Let it snow let it snow let it snow

 Sunday we were lucky enough to have another snowfall at our house. Lucky enough I say because when you have kids that are 2 and 4 the excitement with even one flake of snow falling is super exciting. Here are a few pictures of some of the fun they had until it got a little chilly and we went inside for some warm soup:)
