Snow Fun on New Years Day

 What a better way but to ring in the new year with our first time ever sledding adventure.  The kids were excited but not quite sure what to expect since we had never been or watched others do it. Kellan made it down one time with daddy then one time with mommy and then was ready to go in the car and warm up. Avery on the other hand was ready to go, go, go. She loved it:)

a morning at Lincoln Park Zoo

On Saturday the 28th we had a warm winter day of 50 degree weather so we decided to take the kids down to the city to enjoy the Lincoln Park Zoo for the morning. We had so much fun and saw lots of animals that seemed to enjoy the sunny weather just as much as we did. After we walked around for couple of hours we then had lunch at RJ Grunts. What a fun family day!
