18 month check-up!
This morning Avery had her 18 month doctors appointment and it went great!
Can't believe she is a 1 1/2 years old already. She was such a big girl today that she didn't even cry when she had to get her shot. She walked right out of the office headed straight to the basket of suckers and smiled the whole way to the car!
Her latest stats are:
weight: 22.8 pounds~ 24th percentile
head:47 cm~64th percentile
height:33.5 inches~ 93rd percentile
Everything looks good and we don't have to go back until she is 2 years old... which seems so far off but I just remembered that at that point she will also have a brother or sister and I'll be a mommy of 2:)Yikes!

Superbowl Snow!
This morning when we woke up to more snow... So daddy and I had to go out and shovel again. I had such a fun time helping him and even had a little shovel just my size. We also went for a ride on the sled down our street.

Update on Baby Sherman!
This morning I had another doctors appointment and Avery and I were so glad to get out of the house for the first time since Monday. Avery actually enjoys going to my appointments because they have a big fish tank in the waiting room with 4 little fish. Just about the time we pull into the parking garage she starts saying "ish, ish, mama?" She remembers!!!
Today we heard the heartbeat and it was in the 150's and very strong.
My weight remains under control although I have no idea how this time around without working out and running I have been lazy. I swear next week is a new week and I WILL get back to the gym.
The most exciting news is that we have our next appointment on Tuesday February 22nd (exactly 5 months from my due date) and will have our 20 week ultrasound and find out if we will be having a boy or girl:) Already can't wait.. Only 19 more days to go!!

Blizzard 2011
Well we got hit with the 3rd biggest snow fall ever in Chicago history. We could barely believe our eyes this morning when we woke up. It took daddy about 4 hours to shovel the driveway and while he was working away, Avery and I played in the snow. She loved it too! I kept asking her to come inside(mommy was cold) so we could get warm and she kept telling me "no!" and running away. Haha! Here are a few pics of our fun!
