My 1st time at Wrigley Field!

Yesterday I got to go see the Cubs play for the first time at Wrigley field. We all surprised Papa for his 70th birthday and got tickets. We even made t-shirts that we all wore that day that told everyone my Papa was 70 years old. I had a great time at the game. I got to eat some pizza and drink a little Diet Coke and I got so excited to cheer on the Cubs. They were playing the Cardinals and unfortunately they lost but it was fun anyways.

On the road again.....

Today Avery figured out that she could get to the front door to check out the action by using her musical table for help. No this is not a walker which makes it even funnier to us. She successfully made it from one room to the next without wiping out or face planting:) Won't be long now and our little mover and shaker will be taking to the roads without anything!!

Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain!

Today mommy and I went to a park in Westmont, IL to go see friends of Mommy's from college. When we got there it was sunny and beautiful so we had a picnic and got to catch up but then the rain starting coming down and I was ready to explore. I had never been able to play in the rain so today was my first time and I loved it!

Today we went outside to take a few new pictures. Meme and Papa told me last week that they like to look at the blog everyday when they are not with me. I miss you Meme and Papa but mommy said those 3 days I spent with you last week may have spoiled me a little more than normal.(check 2nd picture below for clarification).

Avery has found her finger and loves to point!

Just in the last week Avery has found that she can point and she usually gets what she wants/needs. Over the past week Papa taught her where the lights are and now she can point to them when you ask her. Now as you watch the video you can see daddy asks Avery to find the lights and she can but when daddy asks "where is mommy?" she hasn't perfected that quite yet with her pointer finger:)

A trip to the city for Marinda's 1st birthday party!

My good friend, Marinda, had her 1st birthday party in the city today so mommy, daddy and I went down to celebrate with her. We had a great time and she sure enjoyed her yummy cake. I can't wait until I am 1 year old and can have some of that big yummy cake.

My first time at Lincoln Park Zoo!

Today mommy, daddy and Papa and I went to Lincoln Park Zoo. It was my first time and it was great! I saw lots of animals and even got to have lunch and a yummy snack there.. oh yeah and I almost forgot I got to skip my afternoon nap:)

My trip to Springfield!

Unfortunately mommy and I had to go back to Springfield all of a sudden this past week for a wake and funeral for mommy's good friend's mom who passed away. It was a sad week for mommy but I had fun spending time with Meme and Papa. They sure do spoil me rotten. Here are a few pictures of some of the fun things I did while I was there for 3 days.

Meme and Papa took me around for rides in the basket. It hurt their backs so they pulled me with this cane....I had a pillow in there for my back and my baby and dolls.

Then one day before I went down for a nap Meme let me play in the water in the sink. I had a lot of fun!

Meme and Papa did a great job keeping up with me this week. I am really very active now and rarely ever sit still. Here I am playing with Meme(at the end of the day) and as you can see.. I play HARD these days.... My hair is a mess, my clothes are dirty but I am a happy girl!
