A new favorite!

Here are a few pictures from over the weekend playing in my water table. Mommy loves that it keeps me very busy but everytime we go outside I manage to make my way over and get yet another outfit wet. Mommy says it's a good thing that I have a closet full of clothes to keep up with my new favorite past time. Splashing around is so much fun!!!

A night out with mommy and daddy!

Tonight mommy, daddy and I went to a park in Arlington Heights for a fun festival they were having for families. They had balloons, popsicles and music. I even got to play on the playground!! I had lots of fun!!

Meme and Papa know just what a 1 year old needs. I haven't been too happy in the stroller anymore but this wagon thing is sure fun!!! Thanks Meme and Papa. I love you!

A polka dot party!

On Sunday August 1st, we celebrated Avery's 1st birthday surrounded by friends and family. It was a perfect sunny summer day and Avery had so much fun. Thank you to all of our friends and family that were here with us to celebrate. As you know, first birthdays are not so much for the child as they are the parents. I like to look at it as a celebration of successfully making it through the first year of parenting. Avery has been such a blessing in our lives that it is hard to think how life was without our little girl. It is very sad to think the first year has went by already but we are super excited for all the fun that lies ahead. Avery is one very lucky girl to be surrounded by such love!!!

Water Table Fun!!

Today Avery got an early birthday present from Meme and Papa.. A water table!!! She was very happy to be splish splashing around in the water today.

35 years OLD today and what is a better present than my sweet baby walking and talking to me?
