Baby Sherman's new set of wheels... Didn't mommy pick out the perfect seat?

Daddy is practicing for the baby.. or just humoring mommy but either way the new car seat is ready to go... Yes, 5 months in advance, but mommy is so excited she just had to buy it!!

A&W Root Beer Is The Drink of Choice!

So I have been waiting for another sign from Baby Sherman and I think I got one today..I was sitting on the couch watching TV and drinking some root beer when I saw my belly move....!!!!!!I was so excited I sat there for the next ten minutes without moving my eyes waiting to see it again and nothing! But it makes me smile knowing that our little peanut is in there having fun... At 16 weeks, the baby can actually hear our voices now! So exciting!
So this leads me to make a list of foods that I have loved and foods I have not loved in the last 15 weeks...This is not a complete list(of course) but some of the ones that come to mind first..

Foods I love:
grapefruit/strawberries
pizza
anything sweet
root beer
cheese
cereal

Foods I do not love:
Any kind of meat!!

ground beef, steak, chicken, turkey.......YUCK!

fast food(until recently)

Was that the baby?

Well today I thought I felt the first 'movement' from Baby Sherman... I know it may seem early but last week when I was at the doctor he did say that I could be feeling some movement at this point... Now, I am not sure if this is what I was feeling, but it stopped me dead in my tracks while I was in Kohls browsing the baby blankets. I immediately shared the news with Geoff and he is now convinced we are having a girl because it happened as I was shopping! I think he is just scared that he/she may have the same shopping addiction as mommy! Now, I failed to tell him I also had just finished eating about 4 marshmallow peep bunnies... So I am not sure if it was the shopping or the sugar........:) Hopefully only time will tell if this was indeed the first indication of life in there... I am patiently waiting for another sign!!

My belly is growing......15 1/2 weeks!

I woke up this morning and said "Wow I am really pregnant and there is no denying that!" At just 15 1/2 weeks I really feel like I have popped! Here is my newest belly pics....

We are 14 weeks and 3 days along....Everything is looking good!

Today I had another doctors appointment. I was so anxious and excited!!! I started off by getting to hear our little peanuts heartbeat which was a healthy and strong 160:) Truly amazing to hear that sweet sound over and over again. Everything looked great! My belly is starting to show a bit which is scary and exciting all at the same time. I have been suffering from a 3 day headache and asked the doctor about this which he said is normal for weeks 14-20 so I have some more time to hang on, but it is worth it!
We have our next appointment for March 12th which will be our BIG ultrasound. We will find out if we are having a boy or girl that day!! Yahoo!!!!! Things are already going so fast.. I am learning to sit back and enjoy this great journey and adventure. We are so blessed!

13 weeks and counting!!!

Well, it feels great to finally be able to share the news with all of our loved ones that we are having a baby. I am also very happy to say I have finally hit week 13. It has been a long 3 months, but for the most part, I have been VERY lucky with very little morning sickness. I had about 3-4 weeks that I spent on the couch or in bed because I had no appetite and was just plain exhausted, but I feel like I am getting my old self back!! I think if you asked the daddy to be what he thought has been the hardest part of the first 12 weeks he would say my raging hormones, but he feels it is well worth it for what is coming......
