Happy 5 years Mexican style

Geoff and I just spent the last 5 days in beautiful Mexico celebrating our 5 year anniversary. We had such a great time.  The resort was perfect, food was fabulous and the weather was gorgeous. We are so lucky to have Meme and Papa who stayed with Avery and Kellan and took more than good care of them.  We so needed some time away.  Thanks Meme, Papa and Aunt Pie for allowing us to get away. a look back

I decided to look back at some pictures of Avery from the past three years of going to this same pumpkin farm we always do. Oh my how three years makes a difference...but one thing stayed the same. She LOVED every minute of it.

Now for the last 2 years she was blessed with that little brother of hers. This year he was much for "fun" for her and loved following her around:)

Annual trip to Didier Farm

 

This morning we decided last minute that we would go to Didier Farm for the morning with the kids. We were going to wait a couple of weeks to go but it ended up being so nice out that we couldn't pass up the chance to do. It was a fabulous morning and so happy we went. Avery spent most of the morning riding the rides while Kellan(even with skipping his morning nap) was very happy and loved watching his big sissy have fun. He was such a good boy!!!  This is an annual trip we have done for the last 3 years. Can't wait for many more...

 

 

Soccer class 2012

 This fall Avery is taking her first soccer class through the park district. She is in a class of boys and girls that are all 3. The first practice was last week and she was not a fan of it as she cried the entire 45 minutes. She told me she did not like soccer. But we gave it another try today and had a friend with her this time. She did awesome and looked like she was having so much fun. So proud of my sweet little girl for trying it again and this time finding some fun in it.  Her friend, Jessica, in the pictures with her is also a friend that she goes to St. James with:)

Disney on Ice

It was a last minute decision but mommy decided to get tickets for the Disney on Ice show today.  She and I had a girls day out while daddy and Kellan stayed home. I had so much fun and LOVED it. Mommy said she thought it was pretty cool today. I got to pick out one thing when I got there to buy and I picked cotton candy which came with this hat:)

One tired little girl. She feel asleep before we even got home (which never happens) We had a busy weekend!!!
